Samena Limestone Holdings, a subsidiary of Samena Capital, together with a consortium of investors, acquired 30.6% of Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics Company (RAK Ceramics), a US$1bn global corporation which is the world’s largest ceramics manufacturer, supplying products to over 160 countries. The Ras Al Khaimah-based, Abu Dhabi stock exchange-listed company was established in 1991 by H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and the UAE’s Supreme Council Member and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and the Chairman of RAK Ceramics.
